The Calypso Chandelier is over a meter in width and has eighteen arms.

It is a wrought iron chandelier painted in antique silver and is suitable for a normal height ceiling.

Whether you retire to a grand master suite or a smaller single room, you probably use your bedroom for more than simply slumber. Dark bedrooms are great for sleeping, but too little light hinders other activities taking place there. What Size Light Will Fit in Your Room
Before buying a chandelier for your bedroom, first measure the size of the room. Take your room measurements, along with outlet locations (starting with the front door) and furniture placement to Essential Design. Essential Design offer an amazing range to suit your Bedroom.

Room to Glow
Decide what you want to do in the room, then choose appropriate lighting. Home computers, sewing machines and reading nooks in the bedroom need wall sconces lighting. Sitting areas beg for softer, chandeliers. Vanities demand brighter light.

Location, Location, Location
Don’t install your chandelier directly over the bed. You will tend to look up at them while you are laying in bed. Position your chandelier or wall sconce above another feature in the room; such as your dressing table.

Manhattan Chandelier

Chandeliers vary widely in shape, weight and size. Once you have finished choosing the style of chandelier that will best suit your room, the next step is to determine the appropriate size. Essential Design manufacture a variety of chandeliers to suit the space in your home.

Thoroughly evaluate the space in which you plan to hang it. Take note of the ambient light in the room, and consider how many bulbs at what wattage you will need to light the room comfortably.

Will a three-light or six-light chandelier work? Or would a nine-light chandelier or even a twelve-light chandelier be more appropriate?

Buying the correct size chandelier need not be intimidating. Measure the size of the room and the size of your existing furniture pieces. Then determine the height of the ceiling. If the chandelier will be hanging in a dining room, measure the height and width of the table you plan to hang your new light fixture over. A dining room chandelier hung over a table should measure about 12 inches narrower than the dining table.
